Build a strong foundation for daily exercise as well as your performance-oriented goals in this 4-week core-oriented program! Your core muscles (abdomen, buttocks, hip flexors, pelvic floor and several back muscles) compensate for an excessive load on the spine and provide stability and support for a strong, efficient movement of the limbs in the upper and lower body. Strengthening the core muscles improves your mobility, so you can move fluently and reduce your peril of health issue while managing your fitness journey. Core Mobility Workouts allow you to move confidently through a full range of motion while focusing on both the primary and supporting muscles to improve the activation of mind-muscle activation and to notice imbalances in strength and movement. Thus, improving your trunk mobility will improve your trunk strength (and vice versa).

Who is this program for?
Often we forget to pay a little more attention to our core while going through our weekly training schedules — even though we know that this central area of the body is the root of optimal movement. If you find that you are avoiding core workouts or do not know exactly how to integrate them into your multifocal training program, this program is a great option for you! Whether you want to improve your performance and exercise as an athlete or an avid athlete, FB Abs Roudn 3 offers curated programs for those who have a basic level of core strength and fitness and are looking for a structured training plan tailored to improve core strength and awareness of the mind and muscles. Although core work is inherently a part of every workout, including routines that specifically target these muscles for strength, stability, coordination and mobility, your skills will be improved in all activities and the overall enjoyment of movement will be increased.

What to expect
The main focus of the program is on core-oriented workouts, but other training modalities are also included to challenge the core functionally with full-body exercises. The weekly breakdown of workouts is as follows:

3 core-intensive workouts
2 optional complementary workouts (strength, cardio and/or HIIT workouts with an emphasis on upper, lower and/or total body)
1 optional active recovery training at the end of each week (e.g. yoga or mobility)
The complementary and active recovery trainings complement the 3 core trainings of the week and are optional, so you can include them flexibly in your training, based on personal goals and preferences, time availability and degree of fatigue. Most of the workouts are level 3 and 4 with an average time expenditure of about 34 minutes per day. There are also a few additional credit options spread throughout the program!

Required equipment
The main attraction of the program, the core-oriented workouts, do not require any equipment other than an optional mat! If you opt for the optional workouts, light and moderate weight options are not necessary, but could improve the effectiveness of these workouts.
